Sailing electronics engineer

Job description
Working as part of the Integration department, the engineer will have the following tasks:
- Install and configure the electronic equipment on the racing boats.
- Take part in sailing trips to test, adjust and fine-tune electronic systems.
- Provide support and technical development to customers for the EXOCET product range.
- Monitor and manage customer electronics projects, from installation to commissioning.
- Actively contribute to the development and evolution of products by contributing your technical knowledge and experience in the field.
- Supervise and manage a small technical team responsible for installation and support on specific projects, coordinating tasks, allocating responsibilities and monitoring progress.
Required profile
- Passionate about sailing, you have solid expertise in onboard electronics.
- You have practical sailing experience and a good command of electronic systems and associated technologies.
- You will have experience of managing small technical teams, particularly in a dynamic and demanding environment. You are comfortable coordinating the efforts of several people, managing priorities and ensuring that projects progress on time and to quality standards.
- You have a 5-year degree in electronics, embedded systems, robotics or equivalent, or you have equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of the Python language is essential.
- Autonomy, adaptability, organisation and team spirit are the qualities that define you.
- A good command of written and spoken English is essential if you are to thrive in an international environment.
